The GCC Cup is a straight knockout competition played throughout the season. The player drawn as ‘home’ has the advantage of the throw. There are no seeding rules, all players are eligible for drawing into the preliminary round.
Matches will be played in sets. The Preliminary Round and Quarter Finals are first to two sets, Semi Finals are first to three and the Final is first to four. The Final will also use tie-breaker rules should the match go to 3-3 on sets, with the deciding set needing to be won by two clear legs. If the score in this last set reaches 5-5, a sudden death leg will be played.
