SEASON 6
General Match Rules for All Matches
- Matches will be scored by another GCC member. Matches are not valid if there is not another GCC member present. It is the scorer’s responsibility to ensure the correct order of throw is maintained and record any high checkouts/scores/booms.
- If both players end up with a remaining score of 2 during a leg, the ‘Double One Timer’ will begin. This will run for three minutes. If neither player checks out during this timer, both players will throw a single dart at the bullseye. The player who throws nearest will win the leg. If a dart is thrown in the bullseye or semi-bullseye, the dart is removed before the other player throws. If both players throw a bullseye or a semi-bullseye, the darts will be rethrown in the opposite order. The same will apply if the darts are the same distance from the bullseye and it’s too difficult for the scorer to determine whose dart is closest. The scorer’s decision is final.
- Short breaks may be taken after every four legs during a match for a smoke/toilet/beer break. However, both players can agree unanimously to not take these breaks or delay them by however many legs they wish. Once the threshold of four legs is passed, any player can call a break at the end of any leg, without unanimous agreement being required. Once a break is taken, another break cannot be taken for at least another four legs.
- The scorer (see rule 1) may change after every break takes place.
- Any discrepancies during a match will be rectified by the scorer with support from any other GCC members in attendance. The scorer’s decision if final, however.
- Players are allowed to catch ‘bounce outs’. If the player catches a dart that bounces out of the board before it hits the floor, they may rethrow it. The GCC will not be held responsible for any injuries that occur as a result of this rule.
GCC League Phase
Matches
- All players will play each other once in the league phase. Dates of matches must be agreed by both players ahead of time.

- If both players throw a bullseye or a semi-bullseye, the darts will be rethrown in the opposite order. The same will apply if the darts are the same distance from the bullseye and it’s too difficult for the scorer to determine whose dart is closest. The scorer’s decision if final.

IF THERE ARE ANY DISCREPANCIES OR INCIDENTS OCCUR THAT ARE NOT COVERED BY THE ABOVE RULES, THE GCC BOARD WILL DELIBERATE ON THE MATTER. THEIR DECISION IS FINAL.
